I Love The Gorillaz....BUT
I just can’t get into their latest album…tried when it first came out, no go, but i love them so much i gave it another go today
still the same, just not hitting the spot…and as much as they love them, i rather go listen to other bands they attempt to listen to it enough to MAYBE love it.

Had this problem with Serj Tankian’s Solo work as well, LOVED Elect The Dead first listen, one of my favourite albums…but his new one was not up to scratch.
Both these artists have undeniable talent, but i guess when you love thier old work so much they new just doesn’t hold up.
I know you should embrace the future and change…but the beauty with music is you can always live in the past =D
